As you ascend the wrought iron balustrades of the Georgian-style staircase, you’ll discover the Galleried Library, an intimate space perfect for gatherings. The Waveney Room beckons with themes of the surrounding valley, complemented by an ensuite. The Hammam Sauna offers relaxation in the former bank vault, and the luxurious Gurney Room boasts a gold leather and chrome designer four-poster bed.

The House of DREAMS
We knew the house was going to be amazing but it far exceeded expectations - it was just stunning, every room was beautifully decorated and furnished. Well stocked with everything we needed and more, it was just the perfect base for our hen party weekend. It felt like we had a boutique hotel all to ourselves. Jonathan was very helpful and responsive. Already trying to think of an excuse to book again!

Absolutely glorious!
The house was absolutely glorious! A gorgeous building and interiors. A perfect venue for big family or friend gatherings. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms to go around all decorated to the highest standard. The steam room was an added fun bonus and the log burner in the living room too. Lots of places to hang out downstairs and the kitchen had everything we needed. Jonathan was very helpful and supportive and allowed us to stay later on check out day. Five star review! Would love to come again.

Amazing place. Spacious and beautiful
What a beautiful place. So spacious, lots of bathrooms. Each room has been really looked after. We enjoyed every moment of staying here. I am a frequent traveller and this was one of the best places I've ever stayed in Jonathan was also brilliant. Answered all my questions, provided us with all information with plenty of guidance. Excellent customer service.

Amazing house, ideal for large family gatherings.
Stunningly beautiful house, with eight fantastic rooms, lots of space, lots of extra things there like a trunk full of games, a laundry room full of extra towels and bedding, a kitchen very well stocked (very handy when we forgot a bottle opener and kitchen foil). I booked it to celebrate my 40th birthday with my family and it was perfect. The town is lovely, the facilities are great and the owner left little touches like a 40th champagne flute for me. Very helpful owner who sent very detailed information.

An absolutely incredible place!
This is an absolutely incredible place! We had a Hen Do for two nights over a weekend. It was just perfect for what we wanted! Every single room was simply stunning - the style and design of each room was beautiful. There was nothing we needed that wasn’t there! I was able to easily cook breakfast for the whole group without any issues and we couldn’t believe how great the water pressure was in the showers despite multiple people using them at once. For the amount of people this house accommodates, it is incredible value - the group couldn’t believe what we paid and how beautiful it actually was! Jonathon is an excellent host and responded extremely quickly and gave all information needed ahead of our visit. I would highly recommend this beautiful place to anyone!

Perfect for a girlie getaway
This place exceeded my expectations! We had a group of 11 girls staying here and the house was beautiful, spacious and had everything you could ask for. Jonathan was a pleasure to communicate with and was able to answer questions I had, very promptly and with ease. One of the guests is already looking to book this place again for another event. 100% would recommend.

Perfect for Christmas get-together
We met up as a large extended family group. The huge house gave us plenty of space and the bedrooms suited us perfectly. The kitchen was very well equipped and the steam room was a special treat. The play area was enjoyed by all the children as there was equipment for all ages. Being able to wander around the pretty town, visiting the independent shops was a delight. I would definitely recommend this house and would love to visit again.
